Message to 321Gold columnist James Kunstler
James,
Probably one of the reason i like to read your column is you confirm my own worst predictions. And then I can say to myself well you aren't as much of an encapsulated walnut nut as the relatives would like you to believe. Their is always Kunstler to catch most of the arrows.
So with your choosing peak oil as first in the line to take the country too the ER. And i must modestly affirm i also see suburbia as one really big bon fire and which is now being stacked for the 'middle class'.
I have read the nay sayer's with regard's to Richard Duncan's theory and maybe they are right that he didn't factor coal's big shovel into the picture. But even so he did factor in world population and which you just emphasized regarding world oil producers also planning on holding back on their crude exports. This is very serious and confirming of both the world population increase and diminishing crude supply.
With those qualifications balancing the predictions. I'm still putting my perspective on the lights will be going out in the homeland first... and then... it will be climate change to sweep up the mess.
I didn't mention the economy?
We'll it seems evident it has already been acknowledged by some to be on the terminal list. And that includes the nations chief accountant who is just reporting on the governments books.
Our national economy maybe enormous in gross numbers but the significant losses have occurred to it's foundation.
My analogy being it's evident structure will need to collapse before the foundation and productive structure can again be rebuilt.
Larry
