This is the latest announcement from Tuk Tuk NA which is located somewhere in Georgia and I'm assuming they consider Florida as their potential market. It is not very reassuring as I'm still doubtful that they know what they are doing. I'm surprise that the manufacture would let it go on as i doubt TTNA have any sales and probably even less potential for future sales. But then i am opinionated and i do believe in marketing the product after manufacturing. But they do have a Rickshaw with an automatic trans and a larger motor and if the price is structured to the market they could sell these Tuk Tuk's...in my opinion. Though not to the west coast market with out a western dealership. Also, I really doubt they have passed California smog requirements at this time. I had difficulty opening the enclosure with pictures and i don't know whether they will transmit with this msg so you may have to back track from their site if you have problems. It just one more indication they are not up to speed...as yet.

EPA APPROVALS
The L5 Series Tuk Tuk is now finishing EPA Testing. TTNA delayed the final testing by adding the state of California.
Our apoligies to everyone over this delay. The approvals were expected to be complete by year end 07.
After careful review of the addition of California compliments the approval for the rest of the the areas served by TTNA.
Completion of EPA is now expected to be complete in the month of Feb 08.
We do suggest placing your order as soon as possible so arrival will be in time for the spring.

this guy Roy Jordan with Tuk Tuk North America is a scam artist. He will take your money and run. Think twice before doing any business with this company or individual.
